Non-metal scrap

Non-metal scrap holds an important place in the nomenclature of traded scrap. Similarly to the metal scrap the non-metal recyclable waste is subject to preliminary treatment and processing in ECOMAX waste treatement centres. Afterwards it is transported and forwarded to recycling factories and plants in the country and abroad as raw material.

The company trades in the scrap items:

Paper – corrugated cardboard, mixed paper, shredded paper

• corrugated cardboard – packaging boxes, industrial waste from manufacturing facilities using corrugated cardboard as raw material;
• mixed paper – newspapers, magazines, packaging material;
• shredded and stacked paper;

The range of traded plastic scrap is extremely wide.

The below list of scrap items is not exhaustive:

Plastic – PET, PP, PE, PS, BioPP, PVC

• Polyethylene terephthalate – PET – bottles from mineral water, soft drinks, beer and other beverages, sorted by color, as well as intermediate products – industrial waste from manufacturing facilities using PET as raw material;
• Polypropylene – PP – trays, crates, packaging material, etc.
• Polyethylene – PE /HDPE & LDPE/ – thick nylon, cling film, etc.
• Polystyrol – PS –packaging for the food industry;
• Polyvinyl chloride – PVC – tubes, joinery, cable insulation, etc.

Our company also buys&sells:

• Glass;
• Glass containers /bottles, jars,etc./ - whole or in pieces /broken/ – clean from organic or other contamination;
• glass sheets /broken/ – clean from organic or other non-glass contamination;

ECOMAX also trades in the following types of scrap under certain conditions:
